PGI ENERGY, an energy holding company, and Carbon Based Solutions have entered into a joint venture agreement to distribute and sell ProOne’s lubrication products and technology across the world.
Headquartered in Orange County, California, ProOne offers proprietary lubrication and fuel technologies and a line of lubricant products. The exclusive XPL+ (Xtreme Pressure Lubrication) technology from ProOne has been developed to significantly decrease heat and friction at extreme conditions such as high heat, pressure, water and mud. It is a drilling slurry additive technology that offers amazing results in vertical and horizontal operations.
This biodegradable technology decreases friction by more than 70%, minimizes wear to increase the drill bit’s life and enhances lubrication of the drill mud. XPL+ technology provides higher reliability, boosts production, decreases torque and lowers operating temperatures. Other benefits of ProOne's proprietary lubrication are, it avoids nearly 94% of electrolysis, prevents use of diesel fuel, lowers maintenance costs and energy consumption and extends equipment life.
ProOne offers a wide range of lubricants, including greases, spray lubricants, hydraulic oils, gear lubes, motor oils, cutting fluids, cutting oils and engine treatments. ProOne products are eco-friendly, non-corrosive and mostly vegetable-based. They help to decrease the usage of natural resources such as fossil fuels and electricity. The joint venture will bring the new and existing ProOne’s lubricants and additives to the global markets.
