Nordson, one of the primary producers of precision dispensing equipment in the world, announced that its Advanced Technology division delivers a range of bond testing and inspection, underfilling, conformal coating and fluid dispensing solutions to the electronics manufacturers. The solutions will decrease production costs and enhance yields.
Nordson provides precision dispensing equipment for application of powder and liquid coatings, sealants, adhesives and other materials to a variety of industrial and consumer products. The Advanced Technology segment manages YESTECH, EFD, DAGE and ASYMTEK product lines. These lines are utilized to assemble many electronic components in tablets and mobile phones, including housings, SMT boards, displays, keypads, touch panels, speakers, MEMS devices and camera modules.
Nordson EFD and Nordson ASYMTEK offer solutions that meet the requirements of all the types of dispensing processes in the electronic assembly. They deliver various fluid dispensing and coating products, including Nordson ASYMTEK systems for underfilling, coating and dispensing on automated assembly lines and Nordson EFD’s tabletop robots and benchtop dispensers are used for semi-automated and manual techniques.
Nordson DAGE manufactures testing and x-ray inspection solutions for mechanical testing and inspection of electronic parts. Nordson YESTECH division provides automated optical and x-ray inspection solutions for use in electronic assembly processes.
