G2 Blend, a biopolymer formula of the InPro has won the honorable Award of Product Innovation for the current year. The building product industry’s materials, system and products innovation is recognized by the Product Innovation Awards (PIA) from Architectural Products. The Product Innovation Awards motivates the company to reach higher levels in institutional and commercial design.
The company’s materials, products and system are judged by an expert panel including 44 specification professionals and architects, who are experts in evaluating the products. Using the panel’s judgement, the manufacturers are recognized and rewarded with the PIA based on functionality and performance exceeding industry standards, qualities, and attributes.
InPro’s G2 Blend is an advanced biopolymer formulation and patent-pending combination of fast renewable biopolymer, PETG and recycled substance using the company’s kickplates, rigid sheet wall cladding and profile products including wall guards, crash rails, corner guards and hand rails. The G2 Blend product has received the GREENGUARD certification for indoor air quality, the GREENGUARD Children and Schools certification and NFPA Class 1 fire rating.
