Formulators Introduces HydroSeal Maxx Flooring Adhesive
US based Formulators has announced the introduction of the HydroSeal Maxx flooring adhesive which has been warranted to 10 pounds Moisture Vapour Emission Rate at a Relative Humidity rate of 90%.
This adhesive does not require membranes, primers, vapour suppressants and other expensive mitigation systems and has also been warranted not to delaminate when the moisture levels of the concrete rise over the 10-year period. It is used in resilient flooring for healthcare, retail, commercial and educational facilities.
The HydroSeal Maxx provides a sensitive grab pressure after a flash time of 30 minutes. However after that time it remains wet which leads to maximum penetration of the surface of the resilient tile. The adhesive has a bonding strength that is 300% more than the regular thin adhesive and can be installed like regular vinyl adhesives.
The VOC-free adhesive has one part of water base and due to this factor does not require mixing and can be used over concrete surfaces by using concrete-grinding methods. The adhesive also meets the standards of the REACH European environmental and CHPS low odour air quality and also makes a significant contribution to LEED credits for materials that have low emissions. The company has currently made the adhesive available for sampling and testing.
