Eco Building Products (ECOB), a manufacturer of proprietary wood products treated with an eco-friendly chemistry, has delivered its WoodSurfaceFilm coating technology to Northern Crossarm, a wood treatment company in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
The Eco Blue Shield technology of ECOB will protect wood from termites, wood ingesting insects, rot-decay, fungus, mold or mycotoxins and fire. Hence, Northern Crossarm has chosen ECOB's product to manufacture and distribute into their well-established customer base.
ECOB is happy to partner with Northern Crossarm in the Midwestern US territories. President and CEO of ECOB, Steve Conboy, stated that the partnership with the wood treating company offers another strategic location for a complete supply chain of Eco product line from manufacturing to all the markets. This enables ECOB to reach all lumberyards in all US states with finished goods coupled with competitive pricing.
The transition to Eco product line has been easy through the combination of Eco Red Shield’s quality control protocols and market acceptance with Northern Crossarm’s wide coating knowledge and equipment. President of Northern Crossarm, Pat Bischel, remarked that they have received exceptional feedback on ECOB's coating products from the coated wood market. Bischel also added that the company seeks to collaborate with an established company like Eco Building Products.
