Worldwide Superabrasives (WWSA), a manufacturer and provider of cubic boron nitride (CBN) and industrial diamond products, and BESCO Superabrasives, have reported that they are extending the manufacturing plant in Kaifeng, China.

BESCO or WWSA has mainly invested to increase the capacity of the facility by more than 80% to 60,000 sq. ft to meet the requirements of the customer. This facility extension has included a new superabrasive raw material catalyst manufacturing plant, which will enable controlling each portion of the superabrasive manufacturing method.
WWSA or BESCO will manufacture the high-quality CBN and resin bond industrial diamond for more than during 2012 at the factory located in Kaifeng. These companies will extend the capacity of the manufacturing plant to over 160,000,000 carats by the next year end.
New reports have shown that around 90% of superabrasive raw materials are produced in China irrespective of the label’s name.
