Vystar, a producer of 100% natural raw material, and Islatex, an environmentally focused company producing foam products, have collaborated to produce and market foam made with Vytex Natural Rubber Latex (NRL) into the U.S. bedding market.
Vytex NRL is a green, environmentally safe, fully biodegradable and renewable resource that considerably decreases the allergy causing proteins found in natural rubber latex.
Islatex is manufacturing foam products using Vytex NRL, which has considerably decreased antigenic proteins and other non-rubber elements. The combination of Islatex's high-quality foam and its focus on the environment, along with Vytex NRL that has low non-rubber content results in the cleanest, greenest and most durable foam material for use in bedding products.
William Doyle, President and CEO of Vystar, remarked that they are pleased to expand their partnership with Islatex and offer additional Vytex NRL-made consumer products in the future.
Gunther Lottmann, Genreal Manager of Islatex’s industrial unit, stated that the quality and durability of the company’s foam products have been acknowledged by several certification agencies, like Oeko-tex and LGA. The use of Vytex NRL in their products will help Islatex to move forward in its mission to offer consumers with products that have the most attractive features, such as luxurious comfort, non-toxic, allergy-friendly, excellent ventilation, temperature and humidity regulation and greater longevity.
