This product is said to be “tenaciously tacky” due to its resistance to water spray-off, thus allowing users to reduce grease application cycles in aqueous settings as well as their overall expenditures.
Molykote G-1502FM has been subjected to various ASTM testing methods such as ASTM D-6138-07 (Corrosion), ASTM D-4049 (Water Spray-Off) and ASTM D2266 (Wear). It is capable of reducing wear scar in aqueous environments.
Molykote G1502FM is also suitable for food contact. The service temperature of the white grease is in the range of -40oC to 149oC. The product is supplied by Ellsworth Adhesives in 180 kg drums, 50 kg drums and 400 g cartridges.
