A global packaging specialist, MeadWestvaco (MWV), has introduced an ergonomic trigger actuated aerosol sprayer, Ergosol, for home and garden applications.
The products deliver the performance and aesthetic of a custom-made sprayer in an off-the-shelf solution, thus enabling brand owners to commercialize more rapidly.
With the use of Ergosol, brand owners can distinguish their products among traditional push-button aerosol sprayers. The trigger-actuated aerosol sprayer also helps to increase brand loyalty by providing a comfortable ergonomic and easy spray application. Ergosol can fit any can size and it can be tailored using MWV’s color matching abilities. The product features a less number of components when compared to currently available custom solutions. Thus, brand owners can easily and rapidly shift from push-button aerosol sprayers to the innovative trigger actuated aerosol sprayer. By using Ergosol, MWV combined an even spray pattern with unique aesthetics to develop a universal design that can be utilized for a wide range of products, including auto care, insecticides, hard surface cleaners and air care.
Luis Mondragon, Global Director of new business development for Home and Garden, MWV, stated that they developed the Ergosol sprayer to meet the demand for a flexible, easy-to-use, universal ergonomic design. Mondragon added that Ergosol is the first off-the-shelf dispensing solution with performance and aesthetics that mimics a customized product.
