Noveon and PolyOne have joined forces to develop and distribute a line of Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD) compounds for the electronics industry. Together the two will be able to offer industry the broadest range of static control products.
Under the arrangement, Noveon will have exclusive marketing rights to PolyOne’s Stat-Tech(TM) line of electrically conductive products. These are used in hard disk drives, semiconductors, and electronics packaging and handling applications segments.
Similarly, PolyOne will distribute Noveon’s Stat-Rite inherently dissipative polymer (IDP) products. These products are used for business equipment, telecommunications and medical applications.
Under their co-operative agreement Noveon will manufacture some of its products in PolyOne’s plants in Asia, Europe and North America to meet customer requirements.
