Tell us about the company and why you are at Pittcon this year?
Adam Equipment is a british family business which has been trading for 45 years. We've been coming to Pittcon for 19 years.
This year we are introducing new products including all our new balances, which are all touchscreen. We are based in Oxford, Connecticut, US, and we have offices all over the world so Pittcon is a good show to reach a global audience.
Tell us about the products you are exhibiting this year at Pittcon?
This year is all about the balances. That's all we do, balances and scales. So, we have a five decimal 0.01mg semi-analytical balance, some analytical balances and we do also moisture analyzers as well, and then a vibration table.
Tell us about some of the benefits of the equipment you have on show at Pittcon this year?
The value proposition is a huge benefit of our equipment. We give our customers and users good quality equipment that's affordable price-wise but not only that, they'll have the additional features. You don't have to pay extra for the RS232 or USB interfaces.
With alot of our balances, you can get the internal calibration for the same price that you would pay for somebody with just external calibration.
What industries and applications will see the benefit of your equipment?
Anybody in science pretty much uses a balance. It is like pen and paper to them. Anybody doing sample preparation, sample-weighing, pharmaceuticals and the cannabis market in the US will see the benefit of our equipment.
