We always look at new horizons and meet new customers. Our company is very passionate about the environment and we have been involved in screw design for 40 years. We can help some of the people that are developing bioplastic materials to develop good designs so they can process new materials successfully.
What products are you highlighting this week?
We manufacture screws. We sell screws, barrels, non-return valves, feet housings for machines. We manufacture the plastic melt system for all machines and so that is what we are really promoting. We put the emphasis on doing this for people that are developing bioplastics and environmental materials. And that is what we are really promoting as you look at the exhibit this week. It's got a green flavor to it and that is the direction of the company in the future.
What gives you an advantage over your competitors?
Variance. We have been doing this for 40 years, developing screws, and I have been in the business for 50 years and worked in laboratory work and screw designs. We can take advantage of our experience there and work with people in developing new materials.
Also, we just redone our lab completely. We partnered with Meniscoid and we utilize a machine that is called a Vindicatory that gives us very specific information that's the key for us to be able to develop the right screw design to process the materials.
