Unified Numbering System for Low Melting Metals and Alloys

American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) have together been responsible for the development of the Unified Numbering System that is referred to as an identification number for alloys and metals. The UNS enables correlating many different numbering systems for commercial alloys and metals.

The following table has a list of 14 low-melting metals and alloys with their UNS numbering system from ranging L00001–L99999.
