Advantages

Good resistance to cut and crack growth, exhibits flexibility to –50°C (-60°F) and has good fatigue resistance.

Disadvantages

Maximum operating temperature 50°C (120°F), is degraded by UV radiation and attacked by ozone.  Exhibits poor resistance to oxidising acids and poor solvent resistance.  High creep rate.  High friction leading to hysteresis heating.

Applications

Impact modifier for High Impact Polystyrene. Footwear,  adhesives, wire covering and hosing.
