Laboratory Mixers and Shakers are equipment used to homogenize samples prior to testing.

Single-shaft mixers dissolve solid particles in a low-viscosity liquid, such as thick paint. Multi-shaft mixers made to mix and blend high-viscosity and poor-flowing materials. Paste mixers are used to blend heavy and large volumes of highly-viscous materials. Immersion mills quickly mix a slurry of raw materials. Stir mantles can heat and stir liquids held in a spherical flask. Digital rotators offer a range of mixing actions, from a gentle slosh to rapid agitation. Modular mixers perform low or high-speed orbital mixing of test tube samples set in a thermal blocks or rack.
