Composites Europe 2013: BASF to Showcase Thermoplastic Composites for Automotive Applications

This year, BASF is presenting not only its thermosetting materials at "Composites Europe" trade fair being held in Stuttgart from September 17 to 19, 2013, but also its new thermoplastic composites with continuous fiber reinforcement developed specifically for lightweight applications for the automotive industry. In addition, polyurethane technology news for wind turbine applications will be exhibited by BASF in Hall 4, Booth B26.

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today launched a range of unique X-ray Diffraction CCD Detectors with Smart Sensitivity Control. The Eos S2, Atlas S2 and Titan S2 CCD detectors offer active areas of 92 mm, 135 mm and 165 mm, respectively, and automatically adapt their sensitivity based on the strength of the diffraction from the sample being studied.
