Operating Torque Testing for Lipsticks with Mecmesin Vortex-i Torque Tester

This video shows the testing of opening and closing torque of lipsticks using the Mecmesin Vortex-i computer-controlled torque testing system.

The results are seen in the real-time and stored for the future use. Be-spoke two-part adaptor is designed for different sized products. The Vortex-i is driven by Mecmesin Emperor torque software. This gives immediate indication of “Pass” or “Fail” for each type and size of the lipstick.

The Vortex-i and Emperor software has been superseded by the VortexPro automated torque tester and VectorPro software.
