Testing Syringe Luer Lock Rotation Torque with Mecmesin's Vortex-i Computer Controlled System

This video shows how Mecmesin's Vortex-i computer controlled torque testing system is utilized to measure the minimum torque before the Luer lock fitting on a syringe barrel starts to rotate as part of a Quality Control procedure. Emperor software helps control the movement of the Vortex-i stand, gather the data and verify the sample quality. In order to carry out further analysis, the final data can be sent to Microsoft Excel.

The Vortex-i and Emperor software has been superseded by the VortexPro automated torque tester and VectorPro software.
