Viscoelastic Foam Recovery Time Test Using ADMET's eXpert 3900 System

This video illustrates the performance of the eXpert 3900 system from ADMET. In this video, the eXpert 3900 system measures the recovery time of a sample of viscoelastic foam (memory foam).

The viscoelastic foam is tested according to the ASTM D3574 Test M. To measure the recovery time, a slab of memory foam is compressed using an indentor at a speed of 15,000 mm/min and held for a minute. The recovery time is determined as the time the foam takes to return to its original conditions after releasing of the compression.

Run Time – 1:11min
