Photodiodes and Receivers for up to 10Gbps

AMS Technologies has introduced a family of photodiodes and receivers for 850nm, 1310nm and 1550nm from OSI Optoelectronics. They are specifically designed and manufactured for optical communications applications up to 10Gbps.

All devices are available with either flat window, ball lens window, fiber pigtailed, receptacle connectors like SC, FC, LC and MU, or receiver optical subassembly and ROSA packages.

The available photodiode materials are InGaAs (1310nm, 1550nm) and GaAs and Silicon (850nm). The receivers include highly reliable preamps with differential output. All of the photodiodes are qualified per Telcordia requirements of GR-468-CORE. In addition, OSI Optoelectronics carries a large family of chip on ceramic (CoC) for power and /or wavelength monitoring in WDM applications.
