Xyron, Inc is giving Creatopia a new personality. Creatopia by Xyron is your all-in-one creative companion.
Users can apply three types of adhesive and cold laminate to a variety of surfaces such as cut paper, fabric and more. They can also emboss up to 12 inches wide and die cut up to 6 ½ inches with leading manufacturers dies.

The changes include internal engineering to the main unit, making the tool more user-friendly. For example, the crank handle now locks in place and the inside gears make it easier for users to turn. The biggest adjustment is changing the main tool’s color from pearl white to jewel purple.
“We wanted a color that reflects a new world… A unique world that only you can create,” says Product Manager, Yarden Bendor. “Purple is a very feminine color. It represents royalty, spirituality and has a sacred place in nature. It has also been shown to boost creativity.”
The functionality of Creatopia’s supporting components has remained untouched, however, some of the product names have been changed. Yarden explains, “The hope is to help eliminate confusion. Many of our users have expressed the need for us to simplify a few things, such as the user guides and product names. I think we have successfully accomplished that.”
The former product, Refillz, has been renamed as two products to better reflect the diversity of applications. The new names are Stickz and Protectz. Stickz is the edge-to-edge adhesive, which comes in permanent, repositionable and fabric adhesives. Protectz is a dual sided laminate, designed to protect memories and other documents.
Border Patternz has been changed simply to Borderz, giving differentiation between the capabilities of each component. Patternz allows up to 12” of continuous embossing, while Borderz only allows edges to be embossed.
The new Creatopia will be available in craft retail stores April 1, 2011. The main unit will retail at $149.99, with supporting components running anywhere from $7.99 - $69.99.
