DeltaTRAK Unveils PrimePro EAP Films

DeltaTRAK has released PrimePro EAP, a new range of ethylene adsorption packaging products that increase the shelf life vegetables and fruits.

The new product removes ethylene gas from the environment, which is responsible for quick decay and ripening of produce. The PrimePro EAP films are offered as box liners, sheets and pallet covers.

An advanced additive present in the new line of films discards ethylene from the atmosphere and reduces the speed of decaying and ripening process. The PrimePro EAP is made from porous plastic that prevents anaerobic bacterial growth on vegetables and fruits by allowing correct exchange of gases.

In addition, the anti-fog additive in the film reduces condensation within the package. Thus, the use of PrimePro EAP packaging film with precise temperature helps deliver quality fruits and vegetables with less possibility of bacteria and mold growth. The EAP technology can be applied easily and quickly and provides a cost-effective solution by eliminating the use of other gas and atmosphere packaging systems.
