Hybrid Exercises Option to Market Eco-Friendly Sealants and Adhesives Based on Licensing Contract
Hybrid Coating Technologies (HCT) has declared that according to its licensing contract signed on October 18, 2011, it will be producing and selling eco-friendly sealants and adhesives as a portion of its Green Polyurethane product line, globally on a special basis for an indefinite period.
According to CEO, Joseph Kristul, adding sealants and adhesives to its product portfolio considerably increases the range of products offered to the customers and enables access to the gradually expanding market for eco-friendly polyurethane-based products. He added that it has attracted interest from major international companies recently and are currently working with a leading adhesive and sealant company on a joint venture in order to develop and commercialize its adhesive product portfolio further.
The addressable worldwide market for the company’s polyurethane-based adhesives and sealants technology was over $5 billion last year with adhesives sharing a market share over 80%.
HCT is an innovator based in San Francisco concentrated on enhancing the safety and quality of paint and coatings for commercial and industrial customers globally. HCT is the exclusive licensee of Green Polyurethane coatings and paint, which are considered to be the world's first patent protected polyurethane-based paint and coating products, which remove poisonous isocyanates from the complete production process. These products are licensed by Nanotech Industries.
