As a result of its recent acquisition of long-time sales and service partner, Supack International P/L, Michelman India now offers a business center, laboratory, and an experienced team of sales, technical service and business operations personnel. The facility’s laboratory has been equipped with several industry accepted product testing capabilities for packaging, printing, and coating applications.

Researchers Determine Some Order in NiFeCrCo-Based High Entropy Alloys

Researchers from North Carolina State University (NC State) have found out that electron spin brings some sort of order to high entropy alloys. They have determined that an unknown degree of order, which was not known before, was brought about by electron spin to nickel iron chromium cobalt (NiFeCrCo) high entropy alloy. This spin could contribute to the remarkable properties demonstrated by this alloy.

Magnet-Based Particle Detector Determines Neutrino Mass

MIT scientists have created a new particle detector that identifies individual electrons in a radioactive gas. When the gas produces electrons after decay, this new tabletop detector traps them in a magnetic bottle using a magnet. The weak signals produced by the electrons are collected by a radio antenna in order to precisely map the activity of the electrons over several milliseconds.
