JD Norman Acquires Two Subsidiaries of Federal-Mogul

Diversified metal component manufacturer JD Norman Industries, Inc. has announced the acquisition of two subsidiaries of Federal-Mogul Corporation. The business units include a connecting rod machining operation in Windsor, Ontario and a camshaft casting foundry in Lydney, England. That transaction was finalized on June 28. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Aluminum Association Adds Three Companies to Organization's Membership

The Aluminum Association announced today the addition of three companies to the organization's membership. Scotwood Industries, Page Transportation and Alloy Technology Innovations, each of which provides goods or services to the aluminum industry, will join the Association as Associate members. These additions bring total membership of the Aluminum Association to a record 98 members, consisting of 51 producer and 47 associate members.
