IZOD Impact Test per ASTM D256

This video demonstrates an Izod impact test performed on a plastic specimen using CEAST 9050 impact pendulum from Instron.

ASTM D256 is a standard test method for determining the Izod pendulum impact resistance of plastics. The test requires specimens to be made with a milled notch.
