University of Baltimore Law Center Named ‘Best Façade’ at First Annual Best of Design Awards

BASF Launches ‘Team Chemistry Challenge’ for Students

Today BASF Corporation launched the “Team Chemistry Challenge” to promote collaboration among university students at the University of Michigan (U-M). In its second year, the challenge asks students to identify how mass customization will affect the car buying experience in the future. BASF will award a total of $25,000 to the top three submissions as judged by BASF and U-M personnel.

Verotec Delivers Custom CompactPCI Backplane for Flight Simulation Application

The CompactPCI platform forms a good base for customisation. Verotec recently completed delivery of a custom 6U, 2 x 4 Slot CompactPCI backplane for a flight simulation application. In addition to integrating two independent 4 Slot systems on a single backplane, a number of additional I/O headers and other interfaces were incorporated using a mixture of surface mount and pressfit components.
