K2 Pure is credited with the creation and application of the innovative IST manufacturing process.
In a development that is deemed to be the solution for cheaper and long-lasting solid oxide fuel cells, researchers from Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) of the United States Department of Energy have devised a microscopy method to locate the position of missing oxygen atoms.

Oxford Performance Materials (OPM) has been chosen into a team that will take part in the pilot institute of the National Network for Manufacturing Innovation (NNMI) known as the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute (NAMII).
