Teijin Fibers, the flagship company of the polyester fibers business of Teijin Group, has announced that its 700-nm-thick high-strength polyester nanofiber called Nanofront has been used by Goldwin, a Japanese manufacturer of sport apparel, for producing the palms of motorcycle and bicycle gloves.
It is estimated that there will be an increased demand for kaolin in the coming years and will grow 3.7% annually to 28.4 mmt by 2015. The demand is valued at approximately $4.0 billion.
