Plastics Pioneers to be Inducted in Hall of Fame

An international group of nine pioneers who achieved fundamental advances
in plastics polymers, processing, and applications will be formally inducted
into the Plastics Hall of Fame at a gala banquet during NPE2009,
it was announced today by The Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc. (SPI).

Nationwide Investigation into Treated Pine Decking Materials

Americas Watchdog's Homeowners Consumer Center is launching a national investigation
of all treated wood products used as decking material. According to the group,
"the treated wood decking material was not suppose to fail due to exposure
to the elements, but some is, and we want to identify the manufactures who made
these products".
