The study at DESY's X-ray source PETRA III and at other research centres could pave the way to a more universal understanding of chemistry and to novel applications, as the international research team, led by Prof. Artem Oganov of Stony Brook University (State University of New York) and Prof. Alexander Goncharov of Carnegie Institution, report in the scientific journal Science.

Siemens to Supply H-Class Gas Turbine Power Plants for Patriot CCPP in Pennsylvania

Siemens Energy announced today that it has received an order from Panda Power Funds to supply two power plant units fitted with H-class gas turbines for the “Patriot” combined-cycle power plant (CCPP) in Clinton Township, Pennsylvania. This is the second project in Pennsylvania awarded by Panda Power Funds to Siemens. The first order was for the “Liberty” power plant which was announced in August 2013.
