Air Products to Pursue Renewable Energy Opportunities in North America and Europe

Products and Alter NRG Corp. today announced the
signing of a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to pursue renewable energy opportunities
in North America and Europe. The non-exclusive agreement gives Air Products
the right to license and incorporate Alter NRG’s proprietary Westinghouse
Plasma Gasification technology for use in renewable energy projects.

Mirror of Nanoparticles Reveals Internal Structure of Nearly Opaque Biological Materials

physicists and chemists developed a new method that uses a mirror of tiny silver
"nanoparticles" so microscopes can reveal the internal structure of
nearly opaque biological materials like bone, tumor cells and the iridescent
green scales of the so-called "photonic beetle."
