Tata Steel has announced a £2 million investment in its steel tube works facility in Hartlepool and has inked a distribution agreement with Eisenbau Krämer (EBK), a steel tube manufacturer based in Germany, to expand its product offering and services to the offshore renewable energy market.

Dow Chemical (China) and Haier Group have signed an agreement to form a global joint innovation laboratory. The lab will be located at Haier Group’s Technique R&D Center in Qingdao, China.
