Applications of Microscale FAIMS Device in Pharmaceutical Analysis at Pittcon 2013

This video provides an overview on the applications of Microscale FAIMS in tandem with mass spectrometry in pharmaceutical analysis at Pittcon 2013. The LC-FAIMS-MS analysis is performed in two ways; one is by setting the FAIMS device to a DF and compensation field to send out a target analyte for quantitative assessment, and the other is by scanning the compensation field quickly within the timescale of an HPLC peak.

Microscale FAIMS along with mass spectrometry is a quantitative and qualitative method applicable to both large and small molecules.
