Use of Ion Mobility Spectrometry in Drug Discovery at Pittcon 2013

Ion mobility can quickly separate isomeric species based on variations in their collision cross-sections in the gas-phase, while the ion travels via a neutral drift gas under the effect of a weak electric field. This provides accurate data on ionic configuration.
