Aircraft Made Lighter with ROHACELL High-Performance Foam Cores

The new ROHACELL® high-performance foam core makes aircrafts lighter and more energy-efficient. Since 2004, the AIRBUS subsidiary CTC has been in collaboration with Evonik regarding ROHACELL. The collaboration aims to manufacture aircraft tail structures that are lighter and cheaper than previous designs.
