Wireless Remote Sensor for Mechanical Stress Measurement

A video clip showing how a remote senor is made to test mechanical stress on a helicopter rotor component. This remote sensor is wireless, transmits without a power source with an embedded strain gauge measurement chip and a piezoelectric device allowing the measurement of the loads on the rotor component. As these components are designed for use miltary helicopters, they were designed to tell designers about the different stress levels encountered during aggressive manoevres.
