XY Scanning Stages for High-Speed Automated Photonics Alignment

A high speed area scan uses proprietary PI optimized waveform to find first light. The algorithm automatically returns to first light peak position and begins a PI Gradient Search to find absolute peak. Peak is maintained in position for downstream processes such as epoxy dispense and cure. The high-throughput alignment never stops at any point during process until peak is found. Proprietary Area and Gradient algorithms are designed for multi-axis systems including combined rotational motion.
