MIL-A 12560 - Thickness ranges from 3/16" through 3" are for use in combat-vehicles and thickness ranges from 1/4" to 12" are used in proof acceptance testing of armor defeating ammunition.

MIL-A 46177 - MIL-A 46177 steel plate is a heat-treated military spec armor steel plate that is used for its ballistic defeating properties in a wide range of armoring applications.
