The TCM Series motorized force testers are well-suited for production environments. These affordable, ergonomic testers—compatible with Chatillon DF Series digital force gauges—make tensile, compression, peel, and flexural testing straightforward.
Despite their compact footprint, TCM testers offer generous space for large samples. With an optimal throat clearance of 100 mm (3.9 in), testing bulky specimens is no longer a constraint. The universal adapter plate accommodates both custom and standard fixtures by supporting international, ASM, and metric thread sizes.
The testers feature tactile buttons with haptic feedback, designed without moving parts or membranes. This not only improves durability in demanding environments but also allows for easy cleaning. The built-in vibration feedback confirms user input. For hands-free operation, an optional footswitch controller is also available.
A bright LED digital display shows travel speed and status messages, allowing users to continuously monitor system performance. The system includes a high-speed return function to boost throughput, and integrated mechanical upper and lower limit switches enhance safety and support cycling and return-to-zero operations.
With features like Auto Return, Cycle Mode, a universal auto-switching A/C input, and rugged tactile controls, the TCM Series is ideal for a wide range of testing needs.
Two models are available:
- TCM100: Up to 100 lbf (500 N)
- TCM350: Up to 350 lbf (1500 N)
Both models include a standard crosshead travel of 406 mm (16 in), with extended versions offering 812 mm (32 in) of travel. A 100 mm (3.9 in) throat depth allows testing on samples up to 200 mm (7.8 in), accommodating a wide array of force applications—from tension and compression to adhesion, peeling, insertion, and extraction.
Travel speed is adjustable from 0.2 to 40 in/min (5 to 1016 mm/min), giving users fine control over test parameters.
