Catrac Cable and Hose Carriers for Reliable Industrial Performance

The extensive range of standards allows users to choose the best Catrac cable carrier or Catrac hose carrier for their unique requirements. Link heights range from 2" for lighter-duty applications to 14” for larger industrial-type applications, with a wide range of bending radii and widths. Custom designs are a specialty. Catrac cable and hose carriers are made of 80,000 psi high-tensile strength steel links, with #12 gauge and #10 gauge link plates as the norm.

Each articulating joint consists of a hardened link pin with a retaining ring or a hardened shoulder bolt and nylon locking nuts for more demanding applications. All components are zinc-plated with a yellow trivalent chromate dip to increase corrosion resistance. Other construction materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and nylon, are available.

Gemco also provides a series of Mill Duty Catracs, which are utilized in rugged applications and applications such as steel mills. They provide a box beam carrier for optimal strength and stability. Spring-loaded rods allow customers to easily access wires and hoses.

They also alleviate the issue of fitting sizes that must fit through a box beam-style carrier's (fixed) compartment aperture. Hardened shoulder bolts and locknuts are suggested for use in harsh situations. Catrac is designed to remove and change individual components or sections in the field.
