Weldable Chrome Molybdenum Alloy Steel – ASME SA387 Grade 11 Class 2

The ASME SA387 Grade 11 Class 2 is a pressure vessel grade steel intended for use in elevated temperature service. It is used in a wide range of industries and is highly effective, especially in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, where gases and liquids are typically stored at higher temperatures.

In addition, the higher levels of chromium offer excellent resistance against corrosion and oxidation, which is essential in sour gas applications.

Masteel supplies SA387 to fabricators and clients across the world from its substantial stockholding in the UK.

Technical specifications are given below for ASME SA387 Grade 11 Class 2.
