The collaborative Universal Robot arm provides the flexibility of an open platform. It allows multiple users to work around the system, and its compact size facilitates easy integration into an established laboratory process, without compromising safety.
- A collaborative robot arm designed for shared workspaces
- Supports live consumable replenishment. A run can be paused to load new dosing heads, with the system automatically scanning for them when the run is resumed
- Minimal safety training is needed, enabling a broader user base.
Mettler Toledo Compatible

The Mettler Toledo XPR is a well-established instrument for solid dosing. The unit is designed to manage all Mettler Toledo dosing head types simultaneously, which facilitates their convenient transfer across other laboratory systems. An integrated drawer provides storage for additional dosing heads.
- 56-position carousel offers ample storage capacity for dosing heads
- Automatic RFID read/write functionality is integrated into every carousel position
- The XPR balance provides superb accuracy with its six-decimal place precision.
Custom Built, Intuitive Software

Operators configure and manage runs on the MultiDose platform using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. RFID tracking for dosing heads validates that the correct solids are loaded and that the total quantity, including from other dosing heads on the carousel, is sufficient to complete the run according to specified parameters. A live visual user interface provides operators with instant visibility into the performance of their runs.
- An intuitive user interface featuring drag-and-drop functionality
- Autonomous, interchangeable gripper fingertips enable the handling of diverse vial types within a single run
- Temperature and humidity levels are recorded at predefined intervals, specifically at each powder dispense event
- User controls provide comprehensive traceability of experiment owners. Timely notifications of system status contribute to maximizing system uptime
- The spare vial function allows for the loading of an additional rack when out-of-tolerance vials are detected, thereby preserving full racks of in-tolerance vials.
How Does MultiDose Work?
Quality Engineering, Robust Software
The MultiDose workflow is engineered for autonomous operation, minimizing human intervention throughout its entire sequence. This includes automated management of errors and out-of-tolerance dispenses.
The system's design prioritizes sustained uptime and optimizes the need for technical personnel.
Load Consumables

System setup involves loading the dosing heads and the selected vials. The system accommodates up to six vial types within a single operational run, a capability enabled by interchangeable gripper fingertips and integrated vial adaptors. Dispense parameters are subsequently entered or uploaded to initiate the run.
Run System

The system is engineered to execute all required dispensing operations, providing real-time push notifications for both system status and any detected errors. A dedicated priority rack feature empowers users to designate specific racks for expedited processing. Furthermore, the system supports the ability to pause a run mid-process, allowing for the loading and selection of a new rack to be processed before the original run is resumed.
Data Export
