Originally based on the Galaxie Chromatography data system, CompassCDS has evolved into cutting-edge chromatography software.
The CompassCDS product suite comprises several industry-specific plug-in and add-on modules for calculation and reporting, as well as long-term raw and metadata preservation. This leads to lower per-sample costs and increased efficiency throughout the development and manufacturing cycle.
CompassCDS is available as a stand-alone chromatography application or as a fully networked client/server solution. Reporting Software for the Hydrocarbon Processing Industry (HPI)
The SCION Instruments Eclipse SIMDIS Software Plug-in simplifies data processing and reporting of Gas Chromatography analytical findings for petroleum samples ranging from gases to crude oil for use in DHA, Simdist, and Gas Calculation applications. The software works with CompassCDS to generate the necessary DHA, SimDist, Gas Calculation, and FAME reports.
The chromatogram below was generated using the Compass Eclipse software plug-in and includes a composite retention-time-versus-boiling-point curve. Eclipse allows users to quickly acquire the boiling range distribution using many standardized techniques, as indicated in the right-hand column of the picture.
