The GS Omni Analyzer for Light Element Slurry Stream Monitoring

The Thermo Scientific GS Omni elemental analyzer accurately analyzes multiple slurry streams in real time for light and heavy elements. The GS Omni elemental analyzer, which uses Prompt Gamma Neutron Activation Analysis (PGNAA) technology, surpasses X-ray fluorescence equipment by directly measuring elements lower than calcium on the periodic table.

The GS Omni elemental analyzer enables process management of contaminating elements while reducing penalty costs when product grades are met. It also optimizes the reagent dosage and ensures circuit stability.

Features

  • Uses a multiplexer to accept several streams
  • Analyzes a variety of elements in:
    • Iron ore flotation and iron ore wet magnetic separation: S, Si, and Al, and phosphate flotation: P, Ca, Fe, Mg, and Si
    • Additional light element applications include base metal flotation and sulfide gold
  • Factory calibrated for slurry applications
