The thicknessSENSOR is a fully assembled system for non-contact thickness measurements on strip and plate materials. The system comprises two displacement sensors mounted opposite each other on a frame and measuring against the target from both sides. The material thickness is detected using the difference principle and estimated using an integrated assessment unit.

The measurement outputs are output as analog values (voltage and current) or digitally over Ethernet. Due to its incredibly small size, the sensor can be readily incorporated into a limited installation space.
