Silica Woven Textiles and Fabric - SILTEX®

The SILTEX® silica fabric and textiles are high-temperature resistant materials with a continuous operating temperature of 1800 °F (982 °C). These fabrics from Mid-Mountain can be used in a variety of configurations, including silica fabrics and silica mat.

Extensively used for equipment and personnel protection in industries such as shipbuilding, welding, metals processing, foundries, power generation, refineries, and petrochemical, the SILTEX® woven fabrics and textiles can be applied to applications where thermal insulation is vital to the reduction of energy and maintenance costs.

The SILTEX® silica fabrics and textiles are composed of high purity, high strength 96% amorphous silica fibers, and are optimal in applications where E-glass fabrics would generally fail.
