Low Speed Mixer for EM Specimen Infiltration Preparations - PELCO® R2 Rotator

The PELCO® R2 rotator has a slow rotating speed, which makes it suitable for use in EM tissue processing techniques. Slow rotation leads to better infiltration and no air bubbles, leading to better samples.

Rubber cushioned feet at the bottom and back allow the rotator to be used in positions, at angles of 35º and 55º from the horizontal.

A high torque motor maintains constant speed at full load and different speeds can be set using a rotary control. The rotational speed varies from less than 1 rpm to greater than 7.5 rpm. The rotator has been tested under heavy load conditions to ensure reliability.

The R2 comes with a black anodized head (1051), or an optional head (1054) with 18 holes for bottles or vials up to 30 mm in diameter. This head uses the #12706 Snap-Cap® Vials.
