The Airpax™ SNAPAK® Series combines the functions of three separate elements: a power switch, a fuse, and a fuse holder. For the OEM, this means that only one piece needs to be mounted rather than three. Less assembly is required, inventory is reduced by half, and more panel density is possible with less clutter.
The SNAPAK®'s snap-action ensures that the contacts open and close immediately.
Its design also prevents the operator from "teasing" the connections and reduces arcing. SNAPAK® circuit guards are: UL Recognized as additional protectors under UL STD. 1077; CSA Certified as supplemental protectors under CSA STD. C22.2 No. 235; TUV Approved as circuit breakers for equipment as per EN 60934; CCC Approved; and CE Compliant.
Typical uses include office appliances, medical devices, electronic data processing, commercial devices, and amusement and vending equipment.
