IRSX-I640 is the IRSX series' flagship model with exceptional resolution. With the same robust, self-contained smart-camera architecture as the rest of the IRSX range, the IRSX-I640 is designed for applications that require more pixels on target, such as wider scenes, smaller hot spots, and finer spatial detail.
The IRSX-I640 is the recommended option when a target needs to be resolved in greater detail at a specific working distance or when a single camera needs to cover a wider scene without losing measurement resolution because it has a 640 × 512 pixel LWIR microbolometer at a 17 × 17 µm pixel pitch, which provides about 2.4 times the pixel count of the IRSX-I336.

Best Fit
This technology is ideal for high-resolution thermal imaging, wide-area electrical panel scans, large furnace or oven zones, and multi-component PCB inspections that require multiple features to be resolved in a single frame. It also has smaller hot-spot detection capabilities.
